Zusammenfassung
Lernen und Verhalten sind Grundbegriffe der Psychologie und bilden u.a. den theoretischen Ausgangspunkt für ätiologische Annahmen bei unterschiedlichen psychischen Störungen (s. Kap. 12 in diesem Band). Daraus abgeleitet ergibt sich eine Vielzahl von Implikationen für psychotherapeutische Interventionen bei entsprechenden Störungen. Lernen wird als Verhaltensänderung aufgrund von Erfahrungen definiert (Correll 1987). Lernen erfolgt sowohl durch„Trial-and-error-Handlungen“ als auch aufgrund von Einsichten in bestimmte Vorgänge. Verhalten bezieht sich auf konkrete Handlungen, die durch physiologische Prozesse, kognitive Bewertungen sowie motivationale und emotionale Aspekte gesteuert werden. Verhalten ist grundsätzlich im Gesamtkontext seiner modulierenden Faktoren zu sehen. Die Beschreibung und Erklärung von Lernvorgängen bezieht sich auf eine theoretisch angenommene Dimension des Verhaltens, wobei die theoretischen Konzepte induktiv aufgrund von Experimenten entwickelt wurden.
