Abstract

This paper presents the main aspects of an experimental database performed from oedometric tests. We develop at first the non-linear incremental formalism in order to justify that experimental approach. Then, the apparatus and some sand characteristics will be detailed. After developments about the methods of experimental measurements, we show some important results of that generalized oedometric tests.
