Zusammenfassung
Siegbert Krug und Petra Bannier gehen auf die Diagnostik von Motiven mit Hilfe des thematischen Apperzeptionstests (TAT) ein. Die Autoren stellen zunächst ihre Ausgangbasis im Coaching dar, nämlich die Frage nach dem Antrieb (den Motiven), den Menschen brauchen, um eine Aufgabe (Führungsaufgabe) energievoll auszufüllen. Dazu stellen sie zunächst die Motivationstheorie nach McClelland mit der Unterscheidung zwischen Leistungs-, Gesellungs- und Machtmotiv dar. Sie differenzieren zwischen impliziten und expliziten Motiven und gehen auf den Zusammenhang zwischen Motivausprägung und Führungserfolg ein. Im Weiteren beschreiben sie die Erfassung von Motiven mit Hilfe des TAT. Im 3. Teil erläutern sie die Durchführung und Auswertung eines motivationstheoretisch geleiteten Coachings, den Abgleich des Motivprofils des Coachees mit dem motivationalen Anforderungsprofil des Arbeitsplatzes sowie die Implikationen motivationaler Passungen bzw. Diskrepanzen für das Coaching.
