Zusammenfassung
Die Frage, wie Ziele formuliert werden müssen, um handlungswirksam zu werden, ist seit vielen Jahren Gegenstand psychologischer Forschung. Bei vielen Therapieschulen, Beratungs- und Coachingmethoden gehört das Formulieren von Zielen zum festen Handwerkszeug. Eine gängige Lehrmeinung zur Zielformulierung ist, dass Ziele so konkret wie möglich sein müssen, das heißt, werden Ziele zu vage gefasst oder gleichen globalen Absichtserklärungen (beispielsweise gesund werden, zufrieden sein, gute Umweltpolitik machen, etc.) so fehlt ein wichtiger Schritt auf dem Weg zu einem effektiven Umsetzen in der alltägliche Handlungspraxis. Reales Handeln wird nach dieser Meinung durch Zerlegung in eine Vielzahl konkreter Verhaltensweisen möglich. In diesem Beitrag widmen sich die Autorinnen einem neuen Typus von Ziel, mit dem intrinsische Motivation sichergestellt, Sinnerleben erzeugt und Einstellungsänderungen angeregt werden kann.
