Zusammenfassung
Die histologische Diagnose eines duktalen Adenokarzinoms des Pankreas erfolgt im Rahmen der pathohistologischen Klassifikation (des sog. Typing nach WHO) der Pankreastumoren. Selten muss ein duktales Adenokarzinom gegen andere histologische Karzinomtypen unter Verwendung spezieller immunhistochemischer Techniken abgegrenzt werden. Das Grading ist ein Parameter, um die biologische Aggressivität des Karzinoms zu beschreiben. Das Tumorstaging, d. h. die Feststellung der anatomischen Ausbreitung maligner Tumoren, in Form der aktuellen TNM-Klassifikation gilt für Karzinome des exokrinen Pankreas und für neuroendokrine Tumoren eingeschlossen Karzinoide. Dabei sind eine histologische Diagnosesicherung und eine Unterteilung nach dem histologischen Typ erforderlich. Die R-Klassifikation spielt eine wichtige Rolle bei der Abschätzung der Prognose. Dabei geht es besonders um die sorgfältige Feststellung einer R1-Situation.
