Nach dem Durcharbeiten dieses Kapitels kennen Sie Information und Kommunikation als die beiden grundlegenden Phänomene der Wirtschaftsinformatik, ohne deren überragende praktische Bedeutung Wirtschaftsinformatik als Wissenschaft nicht existieren würde. Sie erkennen, welche Phänomene der Wirklichkeit als Information und welche als Kommunikation bezeichnet werden. Sie können diese Phänomene unterscheiden und zutreffend beschreiben. Unter der Bezeichnung Wissen lernen Sie einen weiteren Kernbegriff der Wirtschaftsinformatik sowie den Zusammenhang kennen, der zwischen Information und Wissen besteht.
