Zusammenfassung
Inklusion, Partizipation und Empowerment (s. Kap. 16) sind Kernthemen der heutigen Psychiatriepolitik. Die Beteiligung von Psychiatrieerfahrenen als Expert* innen aus Erfahrung (›user involvement‹) gilt inzwischen als fester Bestandteil der zivilgesellschaftlichen Gesundheitsförderung. Die UN-Behindertenrechtskonvention von 2006 hat diesen Trend verstärkt. Die Selbstorganisationen der Psychiatrieerfahrenen haben an Einfluss gewonnen und stützen sich auf eine vielfältige consumer/survivor/ex-patient-Bewegung (c/s/x-movement).
