Zusammenfassung
Die Eidetik als Methode der intuitiven Wesensforschung (auch ›Wesensanalyse‹, vgl. Hua II, 14; Hua XVIII, 12 f.; Hua XIX/1, 125, 438; Hua XIX/2, 732; oder ›Wesensanschauung‹ (›Ideation‹), vgl. Hua III/1, 42), d. h. der Einsicht in das Wesen (eidos) einer Sache, insbesondere der Erkenntnis, der Wertung und vor allem des Bewusstseins ist eine der Grundfesten der Phänomenologie Husserls. Schon in den Vorlesungen zur »Idee der Phänomenologie« von 1907 beschreibt Husserl die Phänomenologie als »Wesensanalyse und Wesensforschung im Rahmen rein schauender Betrachtung, Rahmen absoluter Selbstbetrachtung« (Hua II, 51).
