Zusammenfassung
Im Folgenden werden neben einer Kurzbeschreibung des klinischen Krankheitsbildes der Bulimia nervosa (BN) die therapeutischen Richtlinien für die Behandlung der BN und der Stellenwert von Selbsthilfeprogrammen in der Therapie dargestellt. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Vorstellung und Evaluierung von internetgestützten Selbsthilfeprogrammen und E-Mail Therapien für Frauen mit BN sowie die Bedeutung der therapeutischen Beziehung bei internetbasierten Interventionen bei Frauen mit BN. Bestehende Internetplattformen zur Informationsvermittlung sowie internetbasierte Programme zur Prävention und Rückfallprophylaxe bei Essstörungen werden kurz zusammengefasst.
