Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of isolated, isomerically pure tetranuclear iron sandwich polyoxotungstates [(FeII)4(B-PW9O34)2]10- and [(FeII)4(B-P2W 15 O 56)2]16- as organic-soluble tetra-n-butylammonium salts are reported. These complexes have been characterized by 31p NMR, elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility, UV-visible, infrared and EPR.
