About the editors
Md. Nurul Momen is a Professor in the department of Public Administration at University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Dr. Momen has published many articles in the international journals including chapters in different books, dealing in a range of debates in Public Policy and Law, Governance, and Public Sector Reform in South Asia. Dr Momen as a project manager has an extensive experience in implementing a three-year long World Bank project on enhancing the quality of higher education in Bangladesh.
Dr. Rajendra Baikady is a Post-Doctoral Researcher and Confucius Institute Understanding China Fellow at the Department of Social Work Shandong University, Peoples Republic of China. Prior to this Dr Baikady worked as an Assistant professor at the Department of Social Work, Central university of Karnataka, India. His research examined impetus for social work education in a parliamentary democracy and communist regimes- such as India and China. Dr Baikady was the recipientof prestigious Short Term Research Award (STARA) by the Ministry of Education, Government of Taiwan for conducting research at National Chengchi University Taiwan as visiting Scholar during April to June 2018. In 2018, Dr Baikady was awarded the prestigious Confucius Institute Understanding China fellowship for his research related to social work education in China (2018 October to 2019 march).
Cheng Sheng Li is a Professor in the Department of Social Work School of Philosophy and Social Development Shandong University, Peoples Republic of China. Prof. Cheng has carried out research projects founded by international agencies such as UNESCO, Washington University in St. Louis in U.S, University of British Columbia in Canada, Taiwan Dongwu University. He was a visiting professor for many international university departments. Prof. Cheng has 6 books, 37 research articles (both in English and Chinese) and 05 international projects to his credit. His areas of work are Urban Poverty and Social Assistance, Social Policy and Social Welfare, Social Psychology, Family, Child and Youth.
Basavaraj M is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Department of Economic Studies and Planning School of Business Studies Central University of Karnataka, India since 2012. He has two books, many research articles in national and international journals and presented many papers in various conferences, one of the research paper appreciated at ISBM-2014-Meiji University-Tokyo- Japan. His research manly focuses on regional imbalance and Development, Small scale Industries Agriculture Economics and Social Welfare.
