The Editors
Prof. Dr. Thomas Schmidt is Founding Director of the Centre for Business and Technology in Africa and Professor of Business Informatics and Logistics at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. He is founder of the Namibian-German Centre for Logistics and has many years of experience in Africa with projects especially in university partnerships and technology transfer.

Prof. Dr. Kay Pfaffenberger is Managing Director of the Centre for Business and Technology in Africa and Professor at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences with a focus on business administration. He leads projects in the field of energy and financing in Africa. He also conducts research in the field of payments and mobile payments in Germany and Africa.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Liebing is managing partner of Conjuncta GmbH. He has extensive experience in business initiation and implementation in Africa and has accompanied numerous companies on their way into new markets.He is honorary chairman of the Afrika-Verein der deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. as well as honorary consul of the Republic of Cameroon. Liebing teaches as an honorary professor at the Centre for Business and Technology at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences.
