Abstract
Models of the D, E, and F-regions of the ionosphere, the mesosphere, and the lower thermosphere are considered, together with the model of electromagnetic wave propagation in the Earth’s ionosphere. It is shown that the calculated parameters of the ionospheric plasma can be used in the radio-wave propagation range. The results of the calculation of the ionosphere’s parameters are compared with the experimental data.
