Abstract
This paper proposes a new scheme based on two-source independent component analysis (ICA) for object recognition with affine transformation and for affine motion estimation between video frames. The idea is that, in two-source case, the indeterminate permutation matrix can be fixed. So an affine invariant description will be extracted by ICA algorithm. Simulation results show that ICA method has better performance comparing with traditional Fourier methods on object recognition and affine motion estimation.
