Abstract
This paper is concerned with complex Sturmtype comparison theorems. Especially it is shown that the location of the zeros of a nontrivial solution of a second order linear differential equation with complex-valued coefficients gives information about the distribution of the zeros of the real and imaginary part of any solution of certain other complex second order linear differential equations.
