Abstract
Solutions in which low-molecular-mass substances and a swelling polymer form a homogeneous system have been studied. A method for predicting the activity and osmotic coefficients during variation in the solute concentration has been proposed. The dependence of the osmotic coefficients on the solution concentration, in conjunction with volumetric changes in the system and the swelling pressure, has been analyzed.
