Zusammenfassung
Die (schwierige) Intubation ist zentraler Aspekt dieses Kapitels über Atemwegsmanagement. Intubationskriterien, -arten und -zeichen werden ebenso beschrieben wie unterschiedliche Tuben, Larynxmasken und Larynxtuben. Zeichen zum Erkennen einer möglichen schwierigen Intubation werden erklärt und Maßnahmen zum Management einer – erwarteten und unerwarteten – schwierigen Intubation aufgezeigt. Außerdem werden Videolaryngoskopie und Bronchoskopie erörtert, wobei sowohl ein allgemeiner Überblick gegeben als auch die praktische Anwendung erklärt wird.
