Zusammenfassung

Die Anwendung von Verfahren zu Achtsamkeit und Selbstmitgefühl haben in der Psychotherapie mit Kindern und Jugendlichen stark zugenommen. Dieses Buchkapitel stellt zwei gängige manualbasierte gruppentherapeutische Verfahren zu Achtsamkeit und Selbstmitgefühl mit Kindern, Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen vor. Es werden aus beiden Manualen einzelne Übungen für den Einsatz in der Praxis beschrieben. In letzter Zeit werden außerdem zunehmend Interventionen aus den Manualen isoliert in der Einzelpsychotherapie mit Kindern und Jugendlichen durchgeführt, obwohl die Wirksamkeit solcher Einzelinterventionen jedoch noch nicht ausreichend erforscht ist. Daher wird zum Abschluss eine Studie vorgestellt, die diese Forschungslücke schließen und den Einfluss von achtsamkeitsbasierten Einzelinterventionen auf die Psychotherapie mit Kindern und Jugendlichen untersuchen möchte.
