Zusammenfassung
Die koronare Herzkrankheit zeigt paradigmatisch psychokardiologische Fragestellungen, die auch für andere kardiologische Erkrankungen gelten. In diesem Kapitel wird daher ausführlich auf wichtige Problemfelder eingegangen. Persönlichkeitsfaktoren und Verhaltensweisen werden seit langem als Risikofaktoren diskutiert. Zur Entstehung und Aufrechterhaltung der koronaren Herzerkrankung sowie bei deren Bewältigung tragen soziale Faktoren maßgeblich bei. Dazu gehören sozioökonomische Benachteiligungen sowie Belastungen in Beruf, Partnerschaft und Familie. Berücksichtigt werden auch unterschiedliche Ausprägungen der psychosozialen Risiken für Männer und Frauen. Die psychische Belastung durch die Erkrankung, meist ein Herzinfarkt, reicht von Trauer bis zu einer langdauernden Störung. In diesem Kontext werden Zusammenhänge zwischen koronarer Herzkrankheit, Anpassungs- und Belastungsstörungen sowie Depression und Angststörungen dargestellt.
