Zusammenfassung

Das Erleben eines traumatischen Ereignisses ist immer mit einer psychischen Belastung und einer Anpassungsreaktion verbunden. Dies kann auch Augenzeugen, Angehörige, Hinterbliebene, Helfer und Einsatzkräfte betreffen. Die auf ein solches Ereignis folgende Reaktion kann sich in einer akuten Belastungsreaktion (ICD-10) bzw. akuten Stressreaktion (ICD-11), einer akuten Belastungsstörung (DSM) und/oder mittel- und langfristig in einer chronischen Belastungsstörung oder einer anderen psychischen Störung äußern. Früh einsetzende psychologische Versorgungsangebote sollen dazu beitragen, dass die mittel- und langfristigen psychischen Folgen traumatischer Ereignisse gemildert oder verhindert werden.
