Zusammenfassung
Corporate Volunteering ist eine Form des gesellschaftlichen Engagements von Unternehmen, das – wie das Humanressourcenmanagement auch – den Menschen beziehungsweise den Mitarbeiter im Fokus hat. Dennoch nutzen Personalverantwortliche das Instrument bislang nur selten. Dieser Artikel zeigt anhand verschiedener Studien den Mehrwert von Corporate Volunteering für das Personalmanagement und beschreibt exemplarisch adäquate Volunteeringformate entlang der Funktionen des Personalmanagements. Potenziale werden aufgedeckt und Erfolgsvoraussetzungen beschrieben. Damit soll gezeigt werden, dass Personalverantwortliche um die Effekte des Instruments Corporate Volunteering wissen sollten und es als eine sinnvolle und strategisch einsetzbare Ergänzung der Personalmanagementtoolbox nutzen können.
