Zusammenfassung
Die Corona-Krise führt nicht nur gezwungenermaßen zu einer Veränderung des Verhaltens von KonsumentInnen durch neue Rahmenbedingungen. Sie bewirkt auch ein Umdenken in Hinblick auf die Relevanz von Werten. Die Rückbesinnung auf traditionelle Werte ist gestiegen, da die Welt rundherum unsicher geworden ist. Das hat auch Auswirkungen auf die Wahrnehmung von Marken. Marken werden als Konzeptionen des Wünschenswerten verstanden. Sie verkörpern Idealvorstellungen. Regionale Marken stehen unter anderem für Heimat/Nähe/Sicherheit. Sie vermitteln Bodenständigkeit und Tradition und dienen als Anker. Nicht zuletzt die Einflüsse der Corona-Pandemie haben dazu geführt, dass die persönliche Relevanz dieser Werte steigt – und dadurch auch die Attraktivität von regionalen (vs. internationalen) Marken gesteigert wird.
