Zusammenfassung
Die Förderung sozial-emotionaler Kompetenzen gilt heute als zentrale Aufgabe formaler und nonformaler Bildung. Aus der komplexen Entstehungsgeschichte des Konzepts resultierte eine Begriffsunklarheit, die es der pädagogischen Disziplin erschwert, sozial emotionales Lernen einheitlich zu definieren. Im Umgang mit der Offenheit des Konzepts, kann SEK-Förderung holistisch als Bildung von Emotion verstanden- und als Erkenntnisgegenstand multimethodisch beforscht werden. Die Implementierung von Förderprogrammen profitiert von einem fächerübergreifenden Einsatz, der neben Wissensvermittlung auch auf Kompetenzentwicklung, Sensibilisierung und Selbstreflexion setzt.
