Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel wird die Verbindung zwischen Design Thinking und Improvisation hergestellt, um die grundlegenden Fähigkeiten für erfolgreiches teambasiertes Design zu vermitteln. Der Beitrag bietet einfache Übungen an, die wesentliche Designfähigkeiten wie Risikobereitschaft, Flexibilität, aufmerksames Zuhören, Beobachten und Aufbauen auf den Ideen anderer vermitteln. Die Autoren argumentieren, dass die Fähigkeiten, die für erfolgreiches Design Thinking und effektive Teaminteraktion benötigt werden, gelehrt werden können und sollten, und dass Improvisation eine perfekte Methode ist, um sie zu lehren.

Abstract

In this chapter we make the connection between design thinking and improvisation, as a way of teaching the fundamental skills of successful team-based design. The essay offers simple exercises that teach essential design skills like taking risks, being flexible, listening carefully, observing and building on the ideas of others. The authors make the argument that the skills needed for successful design thinking and effective team interaction can and should be taught, and that improvisation is a perfect discipline for teaching them.
