Zusammenfassung
Ausgehend von einem historischen Abriss unterschiedlicher Konsumentenbilder – vom Homo Oeconomicus zum Homo Psychologicus – wird angesichts des digitalen Wandels der Homo Digitalis vorgestellt. Das Verhältnis zwischen dem Anbieter und dem Homo Digitalis ist durch ein umgekehrtes Informationswissen gekennzeichnet, d. h., Anbieter können mit Hilfe von digitalen Informationsgewinnungs- und -verarbeitungsformen tiefgreifende Erkenntnisse über die latenten Bedürfnisse und Wünsche der Konsumenten erlangen, um Angebote zu formulieren, auf die der Konsument von selbst gar nicht gekommen wäre. Diese Entwicklung erfordert eine Neuinterpretation des Konstrukts der Kundenorientierung und eine kritische Reflexion der Möglichkeiten, die zur Bedürfnisbefriedigung zukünftig eingesetzt werden können.
