Die Disziplinen, die sich konstitutiv mit der Stadt und dem Städtischen beschäftigen, bewegen sich auf weitgehend eingefahrenen Analysepfaden. Hier setzte das von 2012 bis 2014 von der DFG geförderte Projekt „Die unbesetzte Stadt: Postfundamentalismus und das urbanistische Feld“ an. Als Ergebnis des Projekts entstand das vorliegende Buch von Nikolai Roskamm.
