Zusammenfassung

Die Bilanzen, die 20 Jahre nach der 4. Weltfrauenkonferenz 1995 in Peking aufgemacht wurden, belegen einmal mehr, wie Genderrollen und -regime durch unterschiedliche Anstöße und Dynamiken in Bewegung geraten sind. Doch sie entwickeln sich nicht eindeutig, linear und global in Richtung auf mehr Gleichheit und Geschlechtergerechtigkeit, sondern in einem Spektrum zwischen emanzipatorischen, neoliberalen und (neo-)konservativen Werten, oft in paradoxer und widersprüchlicher Weise (UN Women 2015; Wichterich 2015).
