Zusammenfassung
Erziehungsstile und Erziehungsmethoden sind seit jeher ein Kernthema von Pädagogik und Pädagogischer Psychologie. Gegen einen belehrenden Erziehungs- und Unterrichtsstil wandte sich im 19. Jahrhundert z.B. Diesterweg (1835) und forderte eine freisetzende Erziehung („Durch Selbsttätigkeit zur Selbstbestimmung“). In der Zeit der Reformpädagogik plädierten Pädagogen für eine nicht-beeinflussende Erziehung, der Heranwachsende sollte sich „von innen heraus“ entwickeln.
