Zusammenfassung
Substanzielle umweltbedingte, soziale und kulturelle Herausforderungen rücken in der wirtschaftlichen und gesellschaftlichen Betrachtung immer stärker in den Fokus. Dabei kommt den Themenbereichen Social Entrepreneurship und Social Business zur Lösung dieser Problemstellungen eine besondere Bedeutung zu. So begegnet das Thema Social Entrepreneurship mit wirtschaftlich-sozialen Innovationen den (negativen) Auswirkungen ökonomischen Handelns. Vor diesem Hintergrund ist der Bereich der Social Business City als Konzept und Instrument für Städte zu betrachten. Dabei liegt der Hauptfokus des vorliegenden Kapitels auf der Klärung, was unter dem Konzept Social Business City verstanden wird und wie dieses in Schweizer Städten und Gemeinden implementiert werden kann. Dabei werden auf Basis einer empirischen Studie (praxisorientierte) Handlungsempfehlungen in diesem Untersuchungskontext gegeben.
