Zusammenfassung
Menschen verbringen einen großen Teil ihres Lebens im Berufsalltag. Sowohl für die Arbeitszufriedenheit und Persönlichkeitsentwicklung der Mitarbeiter als auch für den Erfolg von Organisationen ist eine erhöhte Arbeitsmotivation ein wichtiger Faktor. Die positiven Folgen hoher Arbeitsmotivation für den Mitarbeiter sind nach Kleinbeck und Kleinbeck (2011) vor allem ein höheres Leistungsniveau, Zufriedenheit, Stolz, geringe Fehlzeiten sowie eine stärkere Verbundenheit mit der Organisation.
