Zusammenfassung
Psychische Erkrankungen haben in der Regel keine spezifischen morphologischen oder funktionellen Veränderungen, die mit radiologischen Standardverfahren erfassbar sind. Die bildgebende Neuroradiologie hat sich daher v. a. auf die Fachgebiete Neurologie und Neurochirurgie konzentriert. In den letzten Jahren zeichnen sich hier Veränderungen ab, da v. a. die Anwendung funktioneller Verfahren wie SPECT (Single-Photon-Emissionscomputertomografie), PET (Positronenemissionstomografie), fMRI (funktionelle Magnetresonanztomografie) und MRS (Magnetresonanzspektroskopie) an Bedeutung gewinnen werden.
