Abstract
The subject of research is the modeling of data consistent with the objectives of the e Navigation concept. Author presents general aspects of data transmissions in maritime transportation. He shows possible directions of communication and connection methods and identify the problems arising from the application of specific solutions for individual transmission paths. Author presents also a prototype architecture of the e-Navigation concept tested during the EfficienSea project and an original concept of structure in line with the idea of “OneWindow” contact point.
