Summary
Wireless ad-hoc networks are playing an important role in extending the implementation of traditional wireless infrastructure (cellular networks, wireless LAN, etc). Network topology planning and performance analysis are crucial challenges for network designers (i.e. routing design in ad-hoc networks is a challenge because of limited node resources). The article focuses on the network parameters determining and their influence on ad-hoc networks properties. It also proposes a new approach in ad-hoc networks modelling.
