Zusammenfassung
Unter den Chondroarthropathien wird kausal pathogenetisch eine Deregulation des Knorpelmetabolismus verstanden, die mit einer reduzierten mechanischen Belastungsfähigkeit des Knorpelgewebes verbunden ist. Für den hyalinen Knorpel gilt ein Graduierungsschema, um das Ausmaß der Knorpelschädigung zu objektivieren. Die histopathologische Diagnostik von Meniskuserkrankungen spielt in der Begutachtungsmedizin eine wesentliche Rolle.
