Zusammenfassung
Weltweit gewinnt die Frauenbewegung an Bedeutung. Wir beobachten eine zunehmende Vernetzung von Organisationen, die auf Frauenanliegen spezialisiert sind und die geschlechtsspezifische Forderungen zur Sprache bringen (vgl. u. a. Lenz/Mae/Klose 2000, Basu 1995, Ruf 1998, Merry 2006b, Levitt/Merry 2009). Weltweit werden die Öffentlichkeiten zunehmend mit Problemlagen konfrontiert, die Frauen betreffen. Das Unrechtsempfinden wird geschärft. Zahlreiche anwaltschaftliche und solidarische Vereinigungen sind an vielen Orten der Welt entstanden und sie wirken erfolgreich in internationalen, transnationalen und translokalen Räumen (vgl. u. a. Lachenmann/Dannecker 2002). Immer mehr Trägerinnen von Bewegungen und Organisationen gelangen in die Lage, Menschenrechtsverletzungen öffentlich anzuprangern, Problemlösungsstrategien vorzuschlagen und bei der Bekämpfung des Unrechts aktiv mitzuwirken.
