Zusammenfassung
Die Pädagogische Anthropologie beschäftigt sich in ihrem historisch-kritischen Zugang mit kulturellen Phänomenen, deren Ausprägung, Ausgestaltung und Veränderung, und mit den daraus resultierenden Effekten für reale Lebenswelten von Menschen in unterschiedlichen kulturellen bzw. sozialen Räumen und zu unterschiedlichen historischen Zeiten. Darüber hinaus analysiert sie die Strukturen, die diesen Phänomenen und Bewegungen zugrunde liegen und die auch den Blick der Forschenden und die Disziplin selbst organisieren, um schließlich konkrete pädagogische, sozial- und gesellschaftspolitische Handlungsempfehlungen abzuleiten und zu begründen. Deutungssysteme und Deutungsmuster berühren die Historisch-Pädagogische Anthropologie mehrfach: Sie sind unmittelbarer Gegenstand ihrer Forschung.
