Zusammenfassung
Neben der ‚klassischen‘ Biographie in Buchform ist der das Leben einer historisch verbürgten Person ganz oder ausschnittsweise darstellende Spielfilm eine besonders präsente Variante biographischen Erzählens. Von der Beliebtheit dieses Genres zeugen die zahlreichen biographisch ausgerichteten Filme, die jede Saison in den Kinos anlaufen. Gerade die großen Mainstream-Produktionen aus Hollywood nehmen sich gern und mit großem Aufwand der Lebensgeschichte besonderer Persönlichkeiten an.
