Zusammenfassung
Auch wenn die Freiheit für Arendt den »Sinn von Politik « (VZ 210) darstellt, so hat sie doch darauf hingewiesen, dass »im Mittelpunkt der Politik [...] immer die Sorge um die Welt und nicht um den Menschen« (WP 24) steht. Sicher, Weltlichkeit entscheidet nicht über Politik und Orientierungen; sie ist Bedingung des kulturellen und technischen Herstellens und nicht des politischen Handelns. Dennoch zielt das Handeln auf die Möglichkeit einer gemeinsamen Welt jenseits eines bloßen Lebenserhalts und der ihm zugehörigen Tätigkeit des Arbeitens.
