Zusammenfassung
Im Gegensatz zu normativen Gerechtigkeitstheorien beschäftigt sich die empirische Gerechtigkeitsforschung mit der Beschreibung und Erklärung der tatsächlich vorhandenen Vorstellungen von sozialer Gerechtigkeit. Zentraler Ausgangspunkt ihrer Überlegung ist die Einsicht, dass sich Gerechtigkeitsvorstellungen nicht vornehmlich durch die Auseinandersetzung mit rationalen Argumenten bilden, sondern dass für die Entwicklung eines bestimmten Gerechtigkeitsstandpunktes vielmehr unterschiedliche Einflüsse der Persönlichkeit, der sozialen Herkunft, des ökonomischen und politischen Interesses sowie die Zugehörigkeit zu einem bestimmten Kulturkreis entscheidend sind. Im Gegensatz zum normativen Ansatz wird Gerechtigkeit also nicht als Maßstab für moralisch richtiges Handeln bzw.
