Abstract
Considering that the spread of actual rumors is usually related to the communicator’s own interests, this paper proposes a rumor spreading model by means of game theory and studies the propagation dynamics of rumors. The model uses the selection of safety factors to describe the risk of rumors selection strategies, and introduces the conversion factor. The research shows that there exists a critical value of the selection safety factor in the network, and the speed of rumor propagation is small, then large, then smaller, and finally approaches zero. The study also found that the decision by both the conversion factor to choose the time factor and the conversion factor for both the rumor spreading effect, the greater the time conversion factor, the greater the rate of rumors; the greater the rate of self-selection rumor, the greater the spread of rumors, and the greater the rhythm of the rumors. The correctness of the model proposed in this paper is verified by real social network.
