Abstract

In the environment of population growth and energy crisis, the development of construction industry is facing severe challenges, with the continuous integration and penetration of Internet technology, information technology and computer technology in the field of construction engineering, BIM based construction engineering computer-aided technology came into being. This technology plays a great role in construction engineering design, construction, management and other aspects, and is of great significance to the development of modern construction industry. This paper mainly expounds the working principle of BIM, the advantages of computer-aided technology based on BIM and its specific application in construction engineering, in order to promote the further development, popularization and application of BIM.
