Abstract

The goal of this paper is to know what the specialty literature says regarding the intellectual capital to the activity sectors. It is known that it exhibits diffuse and divergent features, with little or no connection between them, not allowing the development of scientific knowledge in the domain, even though it is increasingly important. This, reduces the possibility of knowing the competitive advantages and creating them, creating value, market shares, in companies and sectors. Thus, it is still to carry out and develop research work that, in the last instance, allows us to know the value of companies and activity sectors (final goal). Without moving in this direction, specialized literature falls short of what would be expected of it.

One of the ways to try to solve the problems highlighted is, to develop applied research that allows to know case studies and generalize them to other companies in the same activity sector, with special emphasis between countries.
