Zusammenfassung
Als nichtinvasive, risikoarme bildgebende Methode gehört die Sonografie zu den diagnostisch wichtigen Standarduntersuchungen in vielen medizinischen Teilbereichen und ist seit Jahren auch in der Dermatologie fester Bestandteil der Facharztausbildung in Deutschland. Heute spielt insbesondere in der dermatologischen Onkologie zur Beurteilung hautnaher peripherer Lymphknoten bei allen potenziell metastasierenden Hauttumoren die mittelfrequente Sonografie mit Sonden im Bereich von 7,5–18 MHz eine große Rolle. Dabei ist zur B-Mode-Sonografie und zur farbkodierten Duplexsonografie die Sono-Elastografie als neues vielversprechendes diagnostisches Verfahren hinzugekommen. Die sonografisch orientierte Feinnadelaspirationszytologie und die kontrastverstärkte Sonografie sind wenig invasiv und ergänzen die diagnostischen Möglichkeiten in bestimmten klinischen Situationen. Die hochfrequente Sonografie (20–50 MHz) hat ihren Stellenwert weiterhin bei der vertikalen Größenvermessung von Hauttumoren, der Hautdicke- und Hautdichtemessung sowie der Beurteilung von entzündlichen Prozessen der Haut und des subkutanen Fettgewebes. Somit ist sie hilfreich bei der präoperativen Planung und der Dokumentation von Therapieverläufen.
