Entwicklung der Emotions- und Selbstregulation im kulturellen Kontext

Zusammenfassung

Emotionen sowie ihr Ausdruck und ihr Erleben sind von kulturellen Erfahrungen und Erwartungen beeinflusst. In diesem Kapitel werden zwei prototypische kulturelle Modelle vorgestellt, die maßgeblich durch unterschiedliche Responsivität gegenüber kindlichen Emotionsäußerungen gekennzeichnet sind und unterschiedliche Entwicklungspfade der Emotionsregulation bahnen. Diese werden exemplarisch anhand frühkindlicher Entwicklungsaufgaben, wie der Bindungsorganisation, der Empathie- und Selbstregulationsentwicklung, skizziert. Ihre Bedeutung für Beratung und Therapie wird abschließend diskutiert.
