Zusammenfassung
In diesem Beitrag werden zunächst verschiedene Perspektiven, zentrale Charakteristika und Funktionen von Unternehmenskultur und Mitarbeiterkommunikation behandelt und anschließend der Einfluss von Unternehmenskultur auf die Mitarbeiterkommunikation diskutiert. Während eine Unternehmenskultur sämtliche Dimensionen, Inhalte und Ausprägungen sowie die bevorzugten Medien und Tools der Mitarbeiterkommunikation prägt, verstärkt die spezifische Mitarbeiterkommunikation mit und durch ihre Anwendung eine bestehende Unternehmenskultur und hält sie somit aufrecht.

Während sich der Begriff Unternehmenskultur auf For-profit-Organisationen konzentriert, kann Organisationskultur als Überbegriff verstanden werden, der sich sowohl auf For-profit- als auch Not-for-profit-Organisationen bezieht.
