1935 Übersiedlung nach Athen; 1952 Studium der Politikwissenschaft ohne Abschluss; 1954 Festnahme wegen Mitgliedschaft bei einer linken Organisation, zu vier Jahren Gefängnis verurteilt; ab 1960 als Fabrikarbeiter tätig; 1967 erneut verhaftet durch das Militärregime; trat zunächst als Lyriker in Erscheinung, dann als Prosaautor und Theaterdichter mit drei Einaktern.
