Abstract

It is necessary to produce new materials in order to evaluate environmental and innovative resources. As a result of the studies, it is important to combine it with biological systems for suitable and novel materials. Materials such as nanoalloys, bimetallic nanoparticles, metallic nanoparticles, and magnetic nanoparticles are gaining importance in different applications such as sensor applications, targeted drug delivery, bio-imaging, cell labeling, and gene distribution, etc. Due to the many unanswered questions and concerns about nanoparticles and nanoalloys, such as their stability over time, agglomeration tendencies, low chemical activity, ease of oxidation, biocompatibility, and cytotoxicity, the use of nanoalloys in these applications has received only limited attention in daily applications. To overcome this obstacle, characterization studies are required. In this way, information about material nanostructures will be gained. Characterization studies for nanoalloys are discussed in detail in this section of the handbook.
