Development Genes and Evolution - Development Genes and Evolution is becoming Discover Developmental Biology - a new fully open access journal!

We are excited to announce that Development Genes and Evolution will become fully open access (OA) in 2025, and move into our Discover series as Discover Developmental Biology. This means that as of January 2025 articles will be published open access in Discover Developmental Biology, meaning content will be freely available to readers worldwide, enabling the widest possible dissemination and reuse. 

The Discover journal series is committed to providing a streamlined submission process, rapid review and publication, and a high level of author service at every stage.
