Abstract
It was found that addition of small amounts of peat humic acids to starch-based sizing hydrogels increases the mass of the adhesive composition absorbed by cotton yarn during sizing and causes a technically important improvement in its physicomechanical indexes by significantly increasing the spreading coefficient over the cellulose surface.
