Summary.
The gastrointestinal tract represents the most common extranodal site of malignant non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Epidemiological, histomorphological, molecular biological and experimental animal studies undoubtedly underline the important role of Helicobacter pylori for the development and progression of primary gastric lymphoma of MALT (mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue). Eradication of Helicobacter pylori is an important therapeutic option in low-grade gastric, MALT lymphoma of localized stage E I.
Zusammenfassung.
Der Magen-Darm-Trakt stellt die häufigste extranodale Manifestation maligner Non-Hodgkin-Lymphome dar. Epidemiologische, histomorphologische, molekularbiologische und tierexperimentelle Daten belegen zweifelsfrei die besondere Bedeutung des Helicobacter pylori für die Entstehung und die Progression primärer Magenlymphome des „mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue“ (MALT). Die Eradikation des Helicobacter pylori stellt eine bemerkenswerte therapeutische Option bei niedrig malignen Magenlymphomen im lokal begrenzten Stadium E I dar.
